The Aplics offices in Romania are located in Pitesti, at the feet of the carpathian mountains. Pitesti is easily accessible via the only real highway in Romania (113km), linking Bucharest and Pitesti directly. It's a one hour drive from Bucharest to Pitesti.

The choice of Pitesti as a base for our offices is well considered. Aplics management has over 20 years of experience doing business on the Romanian market, all over the country. Pitesti is found to be the ideal location due to its proximity to Bucharest and the excellent highway connection with the capital. Yet, Pitesti is far enough from Bucharest to ensure a low risk of loosing knowhow to the capital.The pittoresque surroundings and the proximity of the beautiful carpathian mountain range are valuable extras.

Advantages Romania

Geographical proximity Romania is geographically close to the EU. Bucharest is a 2h40m flight away from Brussels, meaning that it takes 4 to 5 hours to get to our offices in Pitesti. There's only a one hour time difference betwee Brussels and Pitesti.

Cultural proximity There are no major cultural differences between the Romanian and the Western European societies, since Romania has a Latin cultural history. This facilitates contact between the Aplics-team and our customers' staff. No visa requirements There are no VISA requirements to get into the EU or to get to Romania. This makes it possible for our engineers to come to your premises when needed. Romania is a candidate member to the EU and is scheduled to enter the Union in 2007.
