So this painting is the same canvas as the previous one which had been reworked with the addition of the portraits.  This again was to be the painting for the one sheet.  Yes, they liked it so well that they took the photographs Drew had painted from, used his composition and a photo of the background he had painted on the previous version and built a photographic poster from his work.  The pictures Drew painted were never used.
