us

Welcome on our homepage. First of all I would like to tell you a little
about us, so you know whom your dealing with, and to draw you a picture about
what's important to us.
Cor and I were looking for houses as we met the Briard. We were like many of you
very charmed about his looks and the way he acted. As we found a nice house, our
first Briard was already ordert by a Dutch breeder. Jinx, our eldest Briard
female we took home in Feruary '95, and because she was so wonderful in all of
her being, it didn't take much time to get addicted.
We've decided that we wanted another female, and on 31 December '96 we took
Medeia home. Both ladies accepted the other one real quick and they are friends
ever sins.
With Medi we did several shows, and we found out that we liked doing it so much
that it became our new hobby. There came a time that Medi's breeder asked us if
we didn't want to breed with her. And that is how it all got started. We uphold
the rules from the Dutch Briardclub, as a good breeder does, and we were
carefully looking for the right stud. We found him, and after a short but stormy
romance Medi gave birth to 13 beautiful and healthy puppies in September '99.
We, mother Medi and Aunt Jinx chose one lady to stay with us. She, Pichinca (nickname
"Chica") is a real lightning, full with energy. It is never dull
around the house, and she drives both adult sophisticated ladies crazy. Around
that time we started to wonder if it was maybe better to move to a bigger house
with more room for the dogs to play. Although our neighbors have never
complained, we had the opinion that it was better to avoid it.
In mai 2000 we've found a farmhouse just across the Belgium border, and we've
moved with our precious cargo (our dogs) from Holland to Belgium. In March we
took home a little male puppy, his name is Zhivago, and with him it makes our
family complete.
Although it isn't necessary, we will keep breeding within the Dutch Briardclub
recommandations.
Everyone that loves Briards, or wants information is welcome
in our home at any given time.
Just a phonecall will be
enough and the coffee will await you when you arrive.
