He married Livina Gertrude De Meester. Livina was born 1723. Livina died 30 APR 1790 in Kalken, at 66 years of age. Livina became the mother of Marie Jacqueline Hoogewijs in Kalken, 1765.

Josse became the father of Marie Jacqueline Hoogewijs in Kalken, 1765.

2 i. Marie Jacqueline² Hoogewijs was born in Kalken 1765. Marie died 27 MAY 1804 in Kalken. She married Jan Gregoir Baetens. Jan was born in Wetteren 08 JAN 1761. Jan was the son of Pieter Baetens and Joanna Gertrude Scheire. Jan died 23 MAR 1835 in Kalken, at 74 years of age. At 35 years of age Jan became the father of Amelia Baetens in Kalken, 11 JAN 1796. Marie became the mother of Amelia Baetens in Kalken, 11 JAN 1796.
