Tug-of-War club De Berketrekkers kindly invites you to the International Open 4+4 Championships, which will be held in Merksplas. Teams are to consist of 4 men and 4 women, and can join 2 weight categories. The 600kg category starts Saturday July 30 th at 11 am. The 660kg category starts after the 600kg, with a reasonable pause between them so that teams who’d like to participate in both categories will have the opportunity to do so.
The Championships will be run under the auspices of the Belgian Tug of War Association and in line with TWIF International events, but are open to ANY teams from ANY country.

Participation will be free (but you still have to fill out an entry form here)! You don't have to pay an entry fee for either weight categories, and you 'll have free acces to our party on Saturday. There will be enough space to camp, so you can bring along tents or campers if you like. We will also send information about other possibilities, such as hotels or real campings, but be aware that they are located at a greater distance from the competition field.
We can provide

There will be a big party in the main tent Saturday evening, but on Friday evening we’ll also organise the opportunity to socialise with other teams.
