Could she actually kill him? Before you hop on to one of the hyperlinks above, I would like to say a few words concerning this sad, sad event.

The least one could say is that the death of Kurt Cobain is a delicate matter. Many of Kurt's truest, yet also most blinded fans, blamed Courtney for it right away. I feel Courtney Love deserves more credit than that; she's had one of the toughest lives one could ever imagine, and there's not a doubt in my mind about the sincerety of Courtney's love for her husband Kurt.

As a couple they were inseperable and they really wanted to dedicate their lives to eachother. Both had grown up in an extremely unfortunate situation: Courtney has had about 5 different fathers and had to swerve her way through life before it had even begun. Kurt off course also grew up in a broken home, as his parents Wendy and Donald broke up when he was 7 years old.

After many relationships, predestined to fail, these two unstabile personalities finally found eachother after having longed for it a long time. Yet Kurt's severe heroin-addiction and Courtney's unreliable attitude in the end led to a very unhealthy situation, a situation which got unbareable, as well for Kurt as for Courtney.

On the internet you'll come across hundreds of murder theory's, most of them merely written for the sensation of it, and they all seem to sound very logical, but I beg you to please be critical, before you start pointing your raging finger to anyone, most likely to be Courtney Love.

Tom GrantOne of these theory's is that of John Grant, a private investigator who was hired by Courtney Love - Grant claims Courtney pretended to be Kurt's mother when she called him - to locate her missing husband, days before his death. Baring this fact in mind I thought that this source had to be at least somewhat reliable. Therefor I decided to publish this on my website, which doesn't mean, and please keep that in mind, that I would agree with John Grant's findings and remarks, I simply don't know. Many of these things of which he claims that they are proven facts, are totally being denied by other "reliable" resources.

Poppy Z. Brite'Courtney As I refuse to take sides in this matter, I have also published Courtney's side of the story, which I took from her biography Love - only truely The Real Story', written by one of her friends Poppy Z. Brite. I also believe that Kurt's fans, by that I mean you, can judge this case after having seen the different sides to the story. I will definitely not shove any blaim on Courtney's - already fully loaded - bag, until her guilt has absolutely been proven. I hope that you will do the same.

And this is what Kurt himself has got to say about this all... following is quoted from the note he's left in the Incesticide album.

"My wife challenges injustice and the reason her character has been so severely attacked is because she chooses not to function the way the white corporate man insists. His rules for women involve her being submissive, quiet, and non-challenging. When she doesn't follow his rules, the threatened man (who, incidentally, owns an army of devoted traitor women) gets scared. A big "fuck you" to those of you who have the audacity to claim that I'm so naive and stupid that I would allow myself to be taken advantage of and manipulated."

If you read you judge!
