Datatrain MVS Applications Course
The DATATRAIN Applications course is aimed at those who need to program on an MVS machine and involves about 170 hours training.
The course goes from the basics of programming in an IBM environment and works through programming in Command Level CICS, DB2, REXX, CICS Debugging and SAS. Like all DATATRAIN products, modules can be selected from any or all of the courses available to provide customised courses for programmers which exactly match their needs.
As well as giving training in JCL, TSO and others, the programmers course comes with and excellent CICS On-line Cross-Reference. It is perfect for those needing quick and concise explanation on CICS commands, and can easily be left to run in the background for use whenever it is needed. Another feature of the course to increase Programmer Productivity, is a toolbox of mainframe utilities which come as standard. These include an Numeric Input Analyser, an Automated Help Utility and a Date Validation Utility.
The MVS Applications suite of courseware contains 170+ hours of courses covering the broad spectrum of knowledge required by today's IBM Applications Development personnel.
