Datatrain VSE Course

Developed for those VSE operators & programmers who need training at any level, the DATATRAIN VSE Course comes with the option to lease the Command Level CICS Programming module. It gives users an introduction to VSE for those new to the environment, and provides coverage of many topics including: JCL, VSE Utilities, POWER, VSE Operations & REXX. The modules are structured from basic, through to advanced, so working through the course is as easy as selecting which topic you wish to do. Alternatively, if someone needs information on , for example, POWER, they can go straight to that topic after logging on and find out what they need to know.
Console Simulations are also provided for VSE and VSE/ESA so that operators can get console experience without having to use mainframe time. These simulations not only give first time users an idea of what to expect on a mainframe, but are valuable for those who wish to make sure they are going through things in the correct manner.
