CAO/4 is the fourth edition of CAO (Computer Automated Online) and it's earlier editions are running since 1991 in over 80 installations worldwide. CAO has been developed by Walser Software+Support AG and is a multi functional product. CAO is an international trademark of Walser.
The surface of CAO is a solution oriented language. The language itself supports only four basic language constructions so that the tanslator can transform them directly into S/390 machine code with the obtained result that the programs run very fast.
The simple construction provides also the benefit of including high level functions directly into the language. There are a lot of functions for reading and writing datasets, for terminal communication simulating terminal users to applications as well for sorting and printing for reports.
CAO is the only language with integrated Host Graphics for PC with Host Emulations and for Info/Window terminals with PS/2 mouse. CAO can collect the data for graphics directly from the databases or accessing the Transaction Monitors simulating terminal users at online time.

CSI International (Connectivity Systems) (updated)

CSI International (formerly Connectivity Systems) was founded in 1995 by a group of experienced mainframe systems developers for the purpose of creating a TCP/IP stack for the VSE operating system.
