Easy Tricks

1. The diabolo throw

This is the basic Diabolo trick!

N.B.: If you are left-handed replace every "Right" with a "Left" in the following texts! and viceversa!

• 1. To begin start by spinning it fast and try to keep it as straight as possible.
• 
• 2. Then, open your arms simultaneosly and quickly.
• 
• 3. Ok, now it's in the air, in order to catch it back on the string your right arm has to be straight and pointing to the sky. The stick has to point towards the diabolo's axle.
• 
• 4. tighten the string with the left stick, and when the diabolo hits the string loose it so that the diabolo won't bounce off it.

When you'll gain confidence, instead of catching it in front of you, you can try catching it behind your back!

• 1. Throw the Diabolo in the air just like before.
• 
• 2. But now, quickly pass the string behind your head looking at the stick you used in the previous move to point at the diabolo.
• 
• 3.There, see it's not hard!

N.B.: If you are left-handed replace every "Right" with a "Left" in the following texts! and viceversa!

• 1. Throw your Diabolo in the air.
• 
• 2. place your sticks horizontally facing each other in front of you and catch the diabolo with your right stick.
  NOTE:being right handed means that the diabolo spins counterclockwise so it'll have a tendency to roll off the stick as soon as it hits it, to counter this annoying effect, when catching it point your right stick slightly upwards and when retreiving it with your left stick point it downwards.

• 3. While your diabolo is still spinning bounce it off the rigth stick on to the left one.
• 
• 4. Now you can pass it back and forth many times!! ( I can do it about 5-6 times no problem!)

Just swing the diabolo facing you (1). Throw it forth pretty high. To bring it back open your arms slowly (4).

• 1. Give the diabolo a good speed, then swing it right or left as you feel
• 
•

• 2. Notice: the strings are now crossed! to uncross them you either switch sticks or, to make a better impression, do the same trick the other way round! -elementary-
