Belgium's deputy prime minister has praised the Zayed Centre for Coordination and Follow Up, ZCCF, for its intellectual and dialogue initiatives.

In a written message to the ZCCF, Louis Michael, who is also the Belgian foreign minister, said that the objectives, which the centre strives hard to achieve, were very ambitious and deserve commendation.

He reiterated that the promotion of dialogue with the West and the better understanding of the western characteristics were very important for the promotion of international relations.

He pointed out that the important personalities which the centre hosts and the intellectual fora it holds for those personalities were very interesting experiences that deserve appreciation.

The ZCCF, which is being headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, has, for the past two years, been organising international conferences to discuss issues related to the future of the Arab world.
