Brussels -- Belgian Foreign Minister
Louis Michel is to pay an official visit to the Islamic Republic of
Iran 11-12 June.
Belgian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Koen Vervaeke, told IRNA
Wednesday that details of Michel's visit to Tehran will be announced
later.
Meanwhile, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs,
Mohammad Hossein Adeli, is to meet Belgian Foreign Ministry
Secretary- General, Jan De Bock, in Brussels on Wednesday to discuss
bilate
Adeli, who arrived in Brussels on Wednesday, will also meet EU
Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy on Friday to discuss EU-Iran trade
and economic ties.
EU foreign ministers are expected to give the mandate for
negotiations to start on a cooperation and trade agreement between
Iran and the EU when they meet in June.
