ONE OF the most exciting and consistently interesting independent labels
from Australia is M Squared which boasts a fine collection of releases
on its catalogue. What first made me get in touch was reading about a single
they had released by Solipsik, a group formed by an ex-member of
SPK.
Resplendent with formative SPK shock graphics, 'See-Saw' is a surprisingly
melodic offering with an almost Asian feel. An adrenalin rush of fuzz guitar,
reverbed drums and electronics with accompanying vocals.
